  • Interests

No surprise here. I've been fascinated with all things technology since I was a baby in diapers playing the Atari 2600. I remember plaing on my first home computer in the early 90's and building my first website. It's what propelled me to major in Computer Engineering and enter into my chosen career.

I've been fortunate to travel numerous places in the world and I love planning for the next trip. Amongst the places I've been:

    • Ecuador (stayed in an eco lodge in the Amazon)
    • Dominican Republic ("baby" moon)
    • Hawaii
    • Mexico
    • Caribbean: Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, St. Thomas, Aruba (Honeymoon), Costa Rica
    • Norway (Played in the Norway Cup with the '84 Virginia Olympic Development Program team)
    • Denmark
    • Iceland

I've always found myself a runner, but I viewed it more as a necessity while playing soccer. After graduating college, I began running more for pleasure (and still necessity). I've run in numerous races over the years, most notably:

I've been playing soccer since as long as I could walk. I grew up playing for a local club and played through high school and college. Soccer continues to be a passion of mine, I play today in Richmond's adult leage, Central Virginia Soccer Association (CVSA) and various indoor leagues.

Who doesn't like beer? Catching on to the craft beer movement of the late 2000's, I've enjoyed seeking out new beers across America. It's especially easy to do when Richmond keeps opening new breweries. Check out my Untappd Profile.

    Dining Out

I'm fortunate to live in a city with so many fantastic restaurants. I grew up a modestly picky eater but have really expanded my horizon and seek out great food no matter which city I'm in.
